Broadwire Networks, LLC (“Broadwire,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This SMS Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you interact with our text-message (“SMS”) communications, how we use and protect that data, and the choices available to you. 1. Information We Collect via SMS

We do not collect precise device location, app usage logs, or payment card details through SMS.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process SMS-related data to:

Deliver transactional messages (e.g., appointment reminders, outage alerts, ticket updates).

Send marketing texts you have expressly opted in to receive (max 4/month).

Respond to your HELP requests and provide customer support.

Maintain legal and security compliance, including anti-spam record-keeping (10DLC) and fraud detection.

Analyze and improve our products and services (aggregate, de-identified statistics only).
We will not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or message content with third-party marketers.
3. Information Sharing
We share SMS data only with:

Wireless carriers and SMS aggregators to transmit your messages.

Service providers who help us manage messaging infrastructure or analytics and are bound by confidentiality agreements.

Authorities when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
4. Data Retention

Operational logs (phone number, delivery receipts) are retained for up to 18 months to comply with carrier auditing rules.

Message content is retained in accordance with your organization’s Microsoft Teams retention policies or, if none apply, for no longer than 24 months.

We permanently delete or anonymize data once retention periods expire, unless a legal hold is in place.
5. Security Measures

Encrypted transport (TLS) between Broadwire, carriers, and Microsoft’s Teams platform.

Role-based access controls; only authorized personnel may view SMS logs.

Periodic vulnerability assessments and 24 × 7 security monitoring.
6. Your Choices

Opt-out requests are honored immediately; you’ll receive one final confirmation text.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our SMS Program is intended for adults 18 + (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8. International Users
Our SMS service currently targets U.S. and Canadian numbers only. If you text us from another country, your data will be processed in the United States, which may have different privacy laws than your home jurisdiction.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this SMS Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will appear at https://www.broadwire.net/sms-privacy with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will also be announced via SMS or email before taking effect.
